Africa Lead EA Office is pleased to announce the award of three Champions to attend a Leadership Challenge Conference to be held in San Francisco, U.S.A in July 2012. Our East Africa delegates to attend the conference are:
Ms. Jacqueline Mkindi represents the Horticultural Value Chain in Tanzania, throughout Africa and the World;
Ms. Ancieta Mwiti , the Managing Director of ATC (Agri and Co-operative Training & Consultancy Services) will represent Kenya Super Champions; and
The Ugandan Champion Josephine Akia, represents the Policy and Advocacy Officer of NOGAMU, National Organic Agricultural Movement of Uganda.
All the submissions we received were terrific and it is clear that you are really being the change and taking action to create food security.
The choice was difficult but there will be other opportunities coming soon, so stayed tuned and keep working hard.
To reward your efforts, we are pleased to present all candidates who applied with a copy of the Calestous Juma’s book– The New Harvest- Agricultural Innovation in Africa. Email firstname.lastname@example.org with your postal address and we shall mail a copy to you.
